About the MedMij label

Organizations that demonstrably comply with the MedMij rules are allowed to use the MedMij label. You will come across the label on personal health environments (PBLs) and with healthcare providers such as your GP. When you see the label, you know that your medical data can be exchanged there safely and reliably in accordance with MedMij ‘s high standards.

Safety first

MedM creates rules for a safe and reliable exchange of health data. All organizations that demonstrably comply with these rules are allowed to use the MedMij label. You will come across the label on an online Personal Health Environments (PBL). You can also see the label with healthcare providers or other health professionals. You then know that your health data can be exchanged there safely and reliably and that the high standards of MedMij are met.

Access to health data

MedMij ensures that anyone who wants it has access to his or her own health data. Health data can be exchanged safely and reliably via MedMij. This is possible from a healthcare provider with a MedMij label to a person who has a PBL with a MedMij label. And back again.
